Leaders Wanted; Bugle not Required

The fire service has long suffered due to poor leadership in the wrong positions. We’re done with that, and we’re done making excuses. Jump Seat Leadership is all about leading without promotion, rank, or traditional authority. You want to lead? Step up and do it without the bugle. Informal leadership is the back bone of the firehouse!

This course will encourage attendees to lead without rank or promotion. We cover traditional leadership, formal leadership, and focus primarily on informal leadership. Also, in this course there is a strong emphasis on self-leadership and the importance of leading one’s self before others.
