24 Hour HOT Class
July 18 and 19

Developing Tactical Resilience (DTR) is a 24-hour high performance class designed to focus on enhancing mental skills, thought processing, reaction, retention, and arousal control. Utilizing techniques developed by the sporting industry and adapted by the military and law enforcement agencies, these techniques have been adapted specifically for the fire service in DTR.
DTR is a mix of classroom training to learn the foundational concepts and drill ground time to apply the newly acquired concepts and develop them into foundational skills.

This class runs 24 hours straight. Students should come PREPARED as if they are going on shift. Bring FULL PPE (including SCBA and 2 air bottles), change of clothes, plenty of socks and undergarments, medications, and any special needs that you may have.

The effects of this training will be felt into the next day. Do not make plans for 48 hours after the start of this class. Prior to class, hydrate and get plenty of rest. Be prepared to go through technological withdrawal. The use of phones, smart watches, the internet and the like will be strongly regulated. A central contact number will be provided to you to pass along in case of an emergency.

DTR is designed to be intense and to take you to your mental and physical limits in order to apply the new concepts in drills to develop foundational resilience. You will always be coached, and kept safe by a cadre with many years of experience in the fire service, mental resilience, high performance, and dynamic recovery.
If you want what others don’t have you have to do what others aren’t doing, welcome to DTR.
