This one-day class places you in the role of the first-in officer, making critical decisions across a variety of live-fire scenarios. Whether you are new to the officer position or an experienced officer looking for more sets and reps, this course will challenge you to lead a company as both an engine and truck officer.

You will develop skills in size-up, tactics and strategy, effective lead-outs, and line management. Training will also cover forcible entry, officer-led searches, victim removal, and streamlining communication with your crew and the incident commander.

This class is demanding but highly rewarding. Our commitment is to set you on a path toward becoming a stronger, more confident leader and fire officer.
