"Vertical Ventilation Viability for the Truck Operator"
This course will offer insight into the benefits of vertical ventilation to achieve incident objectives for specific building types and fire scenarios. The instruction will focus additionally on determining the correct placement of ventilation operations and the methods by which operators can assess the safety and viability of their operators.
NICK LANDRY started his Fire Service career in 1999 with San Bernardino Co. Fire Department in Southern California where he was assigned in multiple battalions and divisions primarily on Truck and Squad Companies. He then relocated in 2016 to Eagle Idaho as a Training Officer for the Eagle Fire Department.
He has instructed numerous subjects as his departments training towers as well as battalion, division and department-wide levels. He has taught for the Riverside Training Officers and San Bernardino Training Truck Academies as well as the Quad County Truck Academy in Eagle, Idaho. He has also had the humbling opportunity to share his passion nationally and internationally.
