8 hour class. Thursday OR Friday. A boxed lunch will be provided. Parking on-site is limited, please carpool if possible or use the shuttle bus!

Course Description: Extrication station rotations will focus on stabilizing the vehicle in its physical orientation, providing new and modifying old extrication techniques for gaining access to patients with emphasis on making every movement, cut and relief count in the “Art of Making Space”. We will provide a systematic fast paced approach to auto extrication focused primarily on the use of hand tools be it mechanical, electric, or pneumatic illustrating the following objectives: Seat Displacement/ Removal, Door Displacement/ Removal, Maxi Doors or Side Blow Out, B-Post Displacement/ Removal, Dash Displacement/ Push/Lift/Roll, Steering Column Displacement/Pull, Third Door Conversions, Hood/ Trunk Access & Removal, Lock Mechanism Bi-Pass & Through the Floor Board Access.
