Details: 8 hour class. Thursday OR Friday. A boxed lunch will be provided. Parking on-site is limited, please carpool if possible or use the shuttle bus!
Dates/Time: February 27th OR February 28th, 2020. 0800-1700. Class may go longer depending on conditions.
Required Equipment: Full turnouts, including helmet and gloves. SCBA is NOT required

Description: A hands-on, movement-driven 8-hour class covering nozzle selection, water delivery and stream application. We will explore the pros and cons of different hose loads, deployments and stretches with evolutions to enforce appropriate applications of each under a variety of fire ground conditions. By placing an emphasis on knowing the basic tools of your trade, the details in how they operate, and focusing on the crew dynamic, we strive to instill competency and confidence in the Engine Company firefighter. We are focused on aggressive, fast water actions for initial engine company responses that will set you up for success regardless of your department's staffing levels, size or whether in an urban or rural setting.
